“SOCIAL ENTERPRISES AS A MECHANISM FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT”

Today, an open lesson on “Social entrepreneurship as a mechanism for community development” was held at the Urartu University of Practical Psychology and Sociology, which was conducted by the founder of the School of Social Entrepreneurs, Candidate of Social Sciences Gohar Mkoyan.

The open lesson was attended by students and teaching staff of the university. During the open lesson, the speaker explained what social entrepreneurship is, told about the social entrepreneurship  school and how the social entrepreneurship is implemented in the Republic of Armenia.

The following topics were discussed:

1. What is social entrepreneurship;

2. What is the difference between traditional and social entrepreneurship;

3. How social and other problems can be solved through social entrepreneurship:
